Ron was born July 1, 1989, in Eureka, CA; he moved with his parents to Laguna Hills, CA, in August 2000. After Mission Viejo High School, Ron completed two years at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA.
Ron had a natural talent with computers; he completed an IT Cybersecurity Course at the University of Oregon in Portland October 2020, leading to several jobs in IT security including his most recent employment with a top cyber security firm with top secret federal government clearance.
Ron had many friends in his local church family, his devoted AA community, and a Pacific Northwest Wilderness Survival and Marksmanship Training Group.
True to his name, Ron was a leader and an inspiration to many; he lived the truth and wisdom he shared. He was a good friend to all who knew him, a good listener, and encourager. He was smart, funny, and strong. He was proud of his country’s constitution and our individual freedoms that have stood the test of time; and he lived to uphold those core values.
Ron leaves behind his father and stepmother, Ron and Sandy Pileggi; mother, Sue Pileggi; sisters, Lisa Almonte, Cate Pileggi, Patty Pileggi; nephews, Kingston Herley, Domenic Almonte; niece, Sienna Almonte; grandfather, Louis Baeriswyl; and many loved and dear aunts, uncles, and cousins living on both coasts.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 28714 SW Mountain Road, West Linn, OR 97068. A casual fellowship lunch will follow immediately after the service.

My dear stepson I miss you so very much, words cannot even express!! I am so thankful of all those special moments we shared together and how you felt protective over me, how you and I ganged up on your dad to tease him!! I will forever treasure these moments. I love you with all my heart!!
