About Us
Holman’s is a locally and family owned, full service funeral and cremation provider serving Portland families since 1854.
We design everything around your needs. Our funeral home serves all faiths and all cemeteries and offers more personalization options than other surrounding funeral homes in the area.
We are one of the last family owned firms in the area. Our facilities are historic yet clean and modern.
Our present location was originally built in 1902 as a private residence. The building was acquired by the Holman family in 1923, and at that time was converted to a funeral home. Holman’s has several visitation rooms, one of which served as a bedroom for Teddy Roosevelt when he visited Portland in April, 1911. While in Portland, he laid the cornerstone for the dedication of the Multnomah Athletic Club.
As the second oldest business in Oregon, count on us to deliver only the best in facilities and services.
