Margaret Ruth Gassner, 91, died September 24, 2017. She was the proud and loving mother of Diane (Dennis) Warshal, Richard (Jan) Gassner, and Nancy (Stuart) Hasman. Grand children, Eli (Sheryl) Warshal, Emily (Aaron) Alhadeff, Aaron (Angie) Gassner, Adam (Sarah) Gassner, Bryan (Jennie) Gassner, Zach (Staci) Hasman, Tyler (Alexa) Hasman, and Ashley Hasman. Great grand children, Daniel and Miriam Warshal, Max and Charlie Alhadeff, Kellen and Maya Gassner, Bennett and Sam Gassner, Josie Gassner, Ethan and Kayli Hasman, Madisyn and Ari Hasman. Sister in law Charmalee Gassner, cousin Dorothy Saffron, Nephews and nieces John Saffron, Gordon (Sari) Gassner, Larry (Kim) Gassner, and Cheryl Sperry as well as her many loving and supportive friends.
Ruth was raised in Salem and lived there until 2005 when she moved to Portland. She enjoyed the symphony, theater, big band jazz, Oregon Ducks, Portland Trail Blazers, travel, playing pan and mahjong.
